How is it that the same relationship which once brought an abundance of joy, harmony, and excitement, now inspires tension, distance, and a quiet sense of loneliness?
Relationships can be complicated. Without meaning to, couples develop habits and patterns around how they interact with each other. These patterns can lead to getting “stuck” in a situation where both partners feel frustrated, hurt, misunderstood, and disconnected.
The good news is that once we understand these habits, we can create new ones that lead to a stronger sense of connection closeness.
In our work together, we begin by making sense of how the difficult patterns formed. We look at both the individuals and how they come together within the relationship. As we begin to identify your patterns and understand how this cycle developed, we also work to replace them with new habits that foster support and connection. We will strive to create a relationship that functions as a safe haven for both partners. When trouble does arise, you'll be more capable of smoothly resolving conflicts and coping with the stressors of life.

Examine the root causes of the tension and unhappiness you are experiencing. Once identified, we will work to resolve the tension and replace it with habits that inspire joy and connection.

Understand the blocks that get in the way of reaching to your partner in moments of need.

Work to enhance your skills in communication and conflict resolution so that you are able to confidently and lovingly resolve problems in real time.

Develop deeper levels of self-awareness, compassion for yourself, and compassion for your partner.

If needed, we’ll work together to the heal old wounds that have occurred in your relationship so you can establish trust, security, and create new meaning for your relationship.
